Best Apple-Banana-Peanut Butter Energy Wrap

Start your day with a low calorie, but energy boosting, breakfast. This is one of my absolute favorites that amazes all my friends when I make it for them – I am yet to find one person who doesn’t like it. The flavors are so tasty and, as a bonus, you can prepare it within 5 minutes on a busy morning.

WHY IS IT GOOD FOR YOUR BODY?
As peanut butter and banana are naturally high in protein, while the tortilla wrap provides enough carbs for your body, it’s a perfect boost to your mornings. I love to eat it an hour before my morning workouts because it healthily fills me with good energy.

 

Apple-Banana-Peanut Butter Energy Wrap

INGREDIENTS – Serves 1
1 whole wheat tortilla wrap
1/2 banana – sliced
1/2 apple – sliced
1 tsp organic sugar free peanut butter
1/2 cup iceberg lettuce
some dried cranberries

 

DIRECTIONS:
1. Spread peanut butter all over your tortilla wrap.
2. Add iceberg lettuce, sliced fruits, and dried cranberries.
3. Fold the bottom edge over the filling. Fold in the left and right edges of the tortilla about 2 inches. Roll up from the bottom to completely enclose the filling. Cut wraps in half before serving.
